STOKEHOLD is a restaurant (that’s not yet a restaurant).
CHAPPAPEELA FARMS BREWERY is both a brewery & a hog farm.
There’s a lot going on in the beer world. There’s a lot going on in New Orleans, & along the line up of Bourrée’s Beer Garden build out, we’re throwing a party at Jeannette for our friends at Stokehold: a restaurant slotted to be the main culinary furnace of Port Orleans Brewing Co.; the missing piece to the puzzle of Tchoupitoulas Street breweries.
The dastardly talent of the Stokehold trio hails from all over New Orleans’ restaurant aristocracy. Chefs Phillip Mariano of Dominica & Josephine Estelle, Jeremy Walgamont of High Hat, & Tim Bordes (of every New Orleans restaurant in one form or another) are honing in on the craft brewed into the flagship beers of Chappapeela, pairing each beer with two distinct dishes that seek to enhance the beer uniquely. Stokehold’s cuisine will be looking toward each beer it’s paired with as an inspirational ingredient in the ever changing menu that will fit the new brew pub’s brewing line up, & they’ll be testing their skills this Monday February 3rd at Boucherie‘s event space: Jeannette. All offerings are a la carte & no need to make reservations, just come on by anytime between 5pm & 11pm. We’re throwing a soft opening party, to the soft opening party. Gotta figure out how to pay for all the pretty plates & pints the kids love these days some how!
